             Dance is rythmic movement of the body. It is usually performed to music, that serves as a form of communication or expression. People express themselves naturally through this movement. Dancing is the transformation of ordinary, expressive movement turned into extraordinary movement for good purposes. A common movement, such as walking, is performed in dance in a patterned way, in circles or to a certain rythm, and occurs in a special context. Dance reveals much about a person's way of life.
             Some types of dancing are as follows: Ballet, modern, tap, hip-hop, jazz, ballroom, folk, social, line, and others.
             It relates very well to all the areas of the health triangle. It relates to the mental side, because when you dance you feel more confident about yourself. It also very much relieves your stress so you can relax. It relates to the ethical side, because when you dance you forget about your problems, especially if it is something you are passionate about. Also, in the anti-drug commercial, the girl dances away the drug dealers because
             she thinks dancing is more important than throwing her life away. It relates to the social side because when your at dancing school or doing a recital, you meet new friends or people. In my Hip-Hop class my teacher ended up to be a back-up dancer for Britney Spears. I have a lot of new friends from dance, too. It also very much relates to the physical side because it: A.)Keeps you physically fit B.)Relieves stress and you sleep better at night. C.)Makes your muscles stronger and less tense.
             As I said, there are many forms of dance. Ballet is a very popular kind of dance. Ballet makes you graceful, strengthens abdominals, and gives you better self-esteem.
