What Are the Essential Characteristics of an Effective Leader?
             Leadership qualities are ones that people envy and respect. There are certain characteristics that set these unique individuals aside. Everyone has their own perception of what a good leader should be and does. A question to ask is, does this person accomplish what he or she has promised to change? In order to fulfill this, one must be responsible, courageous, intelligent and most important, trustworthy. Effective leaders enjoy great success.
             One carries the great responsibilities of working very hard at assuring those who look up to him to feel that this is someone that can be relied upon. One needs to accomplish what needs to get done and put forth one hundred percent .A good leader is a courageous leader, which in turn is a successful leader. They need to fight for what they believe in and not back down when faced with an obstacle. Therefore one has the responsibility of being courageous.
             Of course, intelligence and trust are of great importance. The knowledge that a leader possesses needs to be of a great variety, ready for anything. One needs to be able to comprehend complicated situations and be sure they are making the right decision. Trust plays a big roll, if don't believe in you they won't stand behind you and allow you to lead. One needs trust to build confidence, and confidence allows one to lead to the best of their ability.
             In conclusion, we must encourage those that seek to be leaders. We must assist those that truly fit the category of leader. We must build our character on what the foundation of a leader is. Leaders are the builders of tomorrow and successors of the future.
