Aspect of Life

             Throughout my life I have learned several lessons, but only few lessons are taken and used. Most of my learning has come from people who have motivated me in life such as: my parents, friends, coaches and most of all Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ once said " Whatever thy hand findest to do, do it with all thy heart". This quote is not only an inspiration to me, but it defines how I work.
             While growing up I have tipped and fallen, but I have learned from most of my failures in life. In my younger years my father had taught me to never quit. He used to tell me "quitters never win". This relates to Christ in that if you don't "do it with all thy heart" than you will never succeed. A lot of people in today's world are not given enough talent to prosper. I have seen disabled people struggle to play a sport, I have witnessed little kids try to play with grown ups, and I have found myself trying to do things that aren't with in my capabilities. We've all experienced these kinds of struggles. Life is on giant struggle. If an untalented person puts all their effort, then they can be satisfied with the outcome. You don't always have to win to become a winner. When you do something, give it all you have. Some people can't cope with struggle and others stare diversity right in the eyes and take it for what it has to offer. I have always been the one to take the challenge. If I go down, it's swinging.
             My sophomore year I decided to run cross-country to stay in shape for the wrestling season. On most fall occasions I would sit around and gorge on food. This would be the first time I had ever trained during the fall. When I first started practicing I thought to myself "this is going to be a breeze", but after a while I couldn't handle losing to a particular group of teammates who took the time to rub failure in my face.
