Drug abuse is one of the world's greatest problems in this era. Well actually drugs are substance which is not for the normal maintenance of bodily health (Goode E, 1984). The term drug is used to refer to the usage of drugs which is seriously harmful to the individual or to the society itself (Humpery J.A, 1990). Usually, although not always, sometimes, such abuse are legal. The determination of which drugs are illegal and what constitutes drug abuser is in many societies largely a political than a scientific manner. The issue is not mainly on health but also one of morality (Palmer S, 1990). The variety of drugs is very great. Most fall into one of this broad although somewhat overlapping categories: depressants , stimulants and psycho tropics, the latter being those which cause dramatic changes in how one views the world, there are great variations in the extent of drug abuse, the types of drugs used, and whether it is socially approved or disapproved and are legal or illegal. Both legal and illegal drug sales are big business in the United States. In this type of case situation, users use these drugs to make them feel better rather than for specific medical purpose. The extent of drug abuse is difficult to be determined. In general, United States is believed to have greater drug abuse problem than other western countries in the world.
