Physical Education in Running

I recently went for a run, as I often do, and found myself listening to the sounds of my breathing as I breathed in, and breathed out. Each breath was to me a symbol of what I can teach, and what I have been taught by my efforts in physical education.
I learned to control each and every inhale, and then slowly exhale as I pace myself around the track. Initially, I was apprehensive about even attempting to run one complete circuit, and was pleasantly surprised and enthused after accomplishing that feat.
Gradually I learned to extend my goals, to push myself a little bit further each and every time I ran. I could feel my muscles getting stronger and stronger, and my breathing became more controlled, more regulated and easier to do. My breathing allowed me to run even faster and further than I ever believed possible.
The pinnacle has yet to be reached, but I am drawing nearer each time I run. Now I wonder who I can teach these same techniques to and if it will benefit them as much as it has benefited me.
The question(s) I have for myself, is can this running benefit others? Will they benefit from it and my enthusiasm for it as much as I have? Can a simple run around the track, or a jog through the woods calm the savage beast, ease the human toil, placate the rebellious heart, or will such a physical education take its toll and allow no room for recovery? The only way I can find out, is by doing it. I guess I will go for a run!
