I have worked with the receptionist for approximately a year and a half, and my experience with her has, for the most part been positive. She is competent and pleasant, and when on task she can be extremely efficient. However, she rarely goes beyond what is asked of her. She completes the requested tasks, exactly as instructed, without considering what else could be done to improve a project or what additional may be needed. Nor does she seek out tasks on her own. Her preference is to wait for something to be assigned to her and then accomplish just what is required of her. Once she is finished she then turns towards leisure activities, such as conversing on the phone with personal calls, or surfing the Internet.
