For all new college students, managing time wisely has been a new challenge that many did not have to deal with in high school. However, with the right way, anyone can be successful as a college student and still have a good time.
             To me, life runs on time, and how much I have. From personal experience, when you're working, playing sports and going to school, you learn the importance of time management. As I have gotten older, the pressures of managing my time have become increasingly harder to bear and more stressful. Now that I'm in college, there's even more work than before, and time management has become extremely important. I often feel overextended when it comes to time management. It seems to be the greatest challenge for me in college. It has always been a struggle for me. It's usually brought on by lack of sleep, distraction with something big going on in my life, sickness, family, or sometimes it just happens when my brain has had enough and wants to shut down for a bit.
             Not managing your time can lead to negative results. When I don't study for a test like I should, there's a chance I'll do poorly on my test and receive a low grade. I often get into arguments with my family members just because I didn't plan my time well. For example, I may yell at them for disturbing me when I'm doing my homework assignments and I may blame them when I miss deadlines, even though, it's nobody else's fault but my own for cramming everything in the last minute. If I had planned my time better I could have accomplished more. Having learned from this, I would get most of my work done well ahead of time. The one thing I do that always fit into my schedule is time for myself and my family. If I become overwhelmed or bombarded with homework, I take at least an hour to relax, dance, talk to my cousins, watch TV, or listen to music.
