Leadership is a trait that I have abundance in. I was not born with this by any means, but rather through hardship did I come upon the blessing. This is a factor that greatly affects who I am and what I am able to accomplish in many adverse situations. Lacking a mother figure growing up, I had the role of caring for my brothers from young age and this was the catalyst that formed this powerful characteristic I have developed. A strict sense of duty and a strong foundation of effort were instilled in me by my father. This was a necessity for the given situation we were in. The trials I faced in the time period of becoming mature at such a young age formed me into a constantly and diligently working young adult. Many great things about this, but my overall knowledge of daily tasks at hand and my ability to finish them promptly is the most important of the talents I earned; displaying responsibility, worth ethic, and a sense of duty that no other circumstances could have brought about within me.
             I was internally forced to mature at a very young age. My father watched after me and my three younger brothers since I was just 6. When I was about 8 I started to realize that every day he had a difficult job caring for us when he got off work. Oblivious to the complexity of the situation, I simply understood that I could do small things to help my dad out. He encouraged this with enthusiasm as was the only way he saw fit to handle the problems that we were faced with. This was the beginning of my era as a double-life parent. I learned to help my brothers with showers and getting ready for school and bedtime. My father took pride in my willingness to help out in these ways, and he showed me this by telling me of his feelings daily, and giving me more responsibility over time.
