Financial Investment

             Our investment attitude on Stock Trak was to diversify our stocks in various industries; this is to lower our investment risk. Thus, we bought multiple stocks, which included Exxon Mobil Corp., McDonald's Corp., and Home Depot Inc; our goal was to spread out our investments. We purchased stocks ranging from coffee industries like Starbucks to electronic companies such as Apple. We also focused on big corporate such as Walt Disney Co. and many others. The goal was to be as profitable as possible with our investments without too much risk. Investments that were not showing gains were sold back either through short sell or limit buy.
             One of our strategies was to rely on economic trends. We looked at products that were in high demand and were top selling. Some of the products identify by our group as profitable, were Apple, Netflix, Starbucks, and Exxon; we purchased all three stocks anticipating a good return on our investment. The virtual industries also seen to be the best buy in today's economy since technology is an ever growing industry. The new generations are all technology savvy so that encouraged us to invest in that area. Netflix being a leader in streaming media as well as DVD rentals, lead us to believe that was a good product to invest in. Gasoline on the other hand is a necessity. With American's being dependent on gasoline and raising gas prices, no matter how high the price of gas, there will still be a demand for the product, making it an ideal investment. Same goes for Starbucks. Since this was going to be a short investment program, we wanted most of our stock to give us instant gain, at a low risk. Thus, a portfolio that's short term when paired with gasoline was a good idea.
