Misconception of Racist Medical Journal Articles

             There is an underlying problem in the medical field that promotes racial profiling. It's the fact that a lot of people believe and try to make themselves believe that racism no longer exists, but the problem has only evolved. Such evolution meant that racism is not based on interpersonal racism but rather a structural racism. Many people today live their lives unknowingly to what is happening in the world around them, and they often try to convince themselves that racism is not a problem in the world. Other know about the problems but they don't really realize that they could possibly be adding to the problem by discriminating against someone or someone else's human rights. At the same time going around saying how open-mined they are. Some poor ideas about racial differences might play a role in medical treatments and diagnoses, based on research done by labeling racial categories.
             The racially biased treatment of patients is a violation of medical ethics and a threat to the medical profession. Some of the medical journal articles describes some type of disease among black Americans compared to the white american. What would be the prefect category to label a black person when it isn't a ethnic background but a skin color based diagnosis? Such research articles are: "Why 7 Deadly Diseases Stroke Blacks Most", "The use of 'Racial' categories in contemporary South African health research...", "Health Disparities Experienced by Black or African Americans", "Deception in research, and racial discrimination in medicine", and "The hidden world of medical racism in the United States" These journal articles either discuss the problematic issue of racism of the united States, or the medical research done that racially discriminates against certain minorities group.
