When we talk about importance in life, there are so many things that we can count on, but there is always one thing that's important to everyone. For me, the self-portrait of my self is most important. I made this portrait in my art class about 2 years a go. The portrait is made out of two different colors of metal and it's stick on a brown piece of wood. It's about 3 cm tall in height and 2 cm long in width. First I drew a side view of my face and then translated it on small piece of paper. After the translation, I came up with eight different types of portraits. It was really confusing for me to choose one, because they were all my self-portrait yet they were different than me. I choose this particular one because my heart thought that's the right one. It's really easy to judge some one else but it gets hard when it comes to own self. I keep this portrait in my drawer and it's really amazing that I was able to make something like this. The wood part is an add-on because, I wanted to hook this to my key chain, but it's relatively big for key chain. The design in the central means nothing it's just there. I did this because my teacher did not want me to live this spot open. After all, portrait is important to me because it represents me.
