After many multiple minutes of getting ready for my big night, I arrived at prom. The music had just started and I was already ready to get my groove on. I headed out to the dance floor with my date, who happened to be my best friend. I figured that by going with him, he would not get jealous if I chose to hang out with my girl friends. I figured that by going with him, I would not feel obligated to dance every slow song with him. I figured that by going with him, I would have a fun, flirt-free, fantastic time.
As I was out on the dance floor, I started to think about how I looked. Personally I thought I looked pretty damn good. I had gotten a bright blue shimmery dress from my favorite store Cache. To go with my dress I bought silver sparkly jewelry and silver silhouettes. Not only did my dress and accessories look good but so did my hair. The place that I went to picked out a hair style; luckily it turned out cute. They put loads of glitter in my hair; luckily it looked cute. They put my hair up in soft, stunning, spiral curls; luckily it looked cute.
As I was dancing I decided to put my flower wristband down. I figured I would move more freely without it being in my way. The disc jockey was playing some really good songs when a friend and I decided to give everyone a little "show". Being that he was one of the best male dancers and I was one of the best female dancers at our school, we thought it would be cool to show off a little bit. As he played "It's Raining Men" my friend Evan and I went to town! As everyone watched we made sure to do only the best dance moves, one that we knew would get the crowd excited.
