             How One Bullet Destroyed Two Lives
             There are certain events in people's lives that change them forever. There can be
             an occurrence that can make someone learn from their mistakes, or realize that they take
             things for granted. Whatever it may be, it changes the path of life the person is going in.
             In the next essay, I will share with you the event that changed my life forever.
             As a child growing up, I didn't have too many friends. My parents thought that
             our neighborhood was too rough for a little child to be running up and down the block, so
             they kept me inside most of the time. However, as I grew older they let me out more. I
             began going out and meeting people on my block. The first friend I had, was my then
             Blades and I were inseparable. Everywhere he went I went, everything he did I
             did. When I got into trouble with other kids in the neighborhood, he was the first person
             to get involved and vice versa. He was a brother to me, and I would do anything for him.
             We shared a bond that I thought could never be broken, but soon things were about to
             I was a smart alec kind of kid, and I usually made fun of people until they cried.
             It seems cruel, but kids will be kids. The kids on the block would keep making fun of
             everyone and they would retaliate with jokes of their own. One night things got out of
             hand with the jokes. All of us started picking on this one girl, Stacey. We took turns
             making jokes. We made fun of her for an hour, she just sat there getting mad and tearing.
             My turn came and she became so upset at the joke I made, she ran home crying.
             The next day, retaliation rose to another level. Stacey had ran home that night,
             straight to her brother to tell him what happened. Stacey's brother and I already weren't
             on good terms as it was, so he decided to try to teach me a lesson. While all my friends
