Gun Control in 1988, handguns killed 7 people in Great Britain, 19 in
Sweden, 53 in Switzerland, 25 in Israel, 13 in Australia, 8 in Canada, and 9,915
in the United States. These figures are very shocking, but no one ever comes up
with idea to stop it or to reduce these numbers. We have got to face this problem
One of the most alarming issues with this problem is juvenile violence.
Did you know that a large percent of crimes committed with guns are by children.
Adults are just as guilty contributing to the violence. Even if an adult has a police
record they can purchase a gun. Even though the US has passed many laws
stating that the buyer must have a mandatory back ground check, the buyer can
still get a gun, if not from the desired store, off the street. If some one wants a
gun bad enough its garenteed that they will get one.
The US banned the most "dangerous" guns. Why would they ban the
sawed-off shotgun, machine gun or the UZI. When in the past 50 years no
civilian has ever used a legally owned machine gun in a violent crime. And no
UZI has ever been used to kill a police officer. The gun that researchers finds
most commonly used is the handgun. Why doesn't the US government put a
ban on the handgun when it has been proven that this is the most deadly
weapon the US citizens has ever been faced with.

gun, but was skilled enough to hit eight moving targets with only eight bullets.
another fact that backs up the parents belief is that each year billions of dollars
are spent to train police and the military how to shoot. Video stimulation is the
best way to help over come the natural resistance that most people have ab...
