In the past, people thought that rock music was being no respect and ignore in the society. In fact, rock music represents the major culture and philosophy from the rock music. The idea of "Hedonism" and "Carpe Diem" are the spirituality in rock music. They are defined as "pressure" and "enjoy the present moment". These ideas give the people message that do not waste time to make plan for the future and just enjoy your present moment. So, many people really follow the idea of "carpe diem" and "hedonism" because they are willing to do drugs and have free sex. This kind of message is from most of the rock music which just like the song of " Love the one you are with" and "white Rabbit"
             "Sister morphine" is one of the related song to the idea of "carpe diem" is enjoy the present moment" which just like the message in "sister morphine" that tells how Mick Jagger and Keith Richards wrote about the feeling after taking the drugs. They think the morphine can turn their nightmare into dream. Even though they think the morphine will kill them, they are still willing to take the drugs and have it as much as they can. They also mention that when they cannot see people clearly and even cannot move normally, they also want to try to "score".
             Besides, they treat morphine and cocaine as their family members. It seems they always have to be with the drugs to enjoy every moment because the drugs make them feel that the time seems to be passed slower.
